PNG, JPG, and SVG. For cutting, use SVG so Design Space gets real cut paths. For print-then-cut, PNG is usually the right choice.

How do I get my design into Cricut Design Space?

Export an SVG from Playground, open Design Space, choose Upload, and select the file. Layers show up individually so you can assign colors and place them on the canvas. From there it's the same as any other cut file.

Do I still need Cricut Access if I use Playground?

Only if you want Cricut's own licensed images and fonts inside Design Space. Playground covers templates, AI editing, background removal, and SVG export. If you're designing in Playground, you don't need Access for that part of the workflow.

Will the SVGs weed clean?

Exports use clean vector paths with smooth curves, not the jagged edges you often get from cheap PNG-to-SVG converters. That makes weeding much easier on vinyl and iron-on.
